Led by students, for students, the 4th Annual Youth Town Hall is organized by participants in the Student Elections Ambassador Program (SEAP), a civic engagement initiative supported by our League, the Marin County Elections Department, and the Marin County Office of Education. The student-led event invites young people to ask questions, share their perspectives, and engage with elected officials from across the county. ESCOM, Emeritus Students of the College of Marin, presents two workshops that will answer questions about the Grand Jury: What is it? How does it work? How can I get involved? Each workshop is presented by local Marin members of the California Civil Grand Jurors' Association and will provide a great background on the Civil Grand Jury process.

High housing costs constrain labor mobility, deepen racial and economic inequities, and erode household financial stability. From budgets and board meetings to charters, mandates, and local control, school districts shape far more than most people realize. Learn how California school districts function, what's changing across the Bay Area, and why understanding the system matters now more than ever.
Two to four volunteers needed to help table at this Clean Slate event. Clean Slate is a collaboration among Criminal Justice Partners, Health and Human Services, and Community Based Organizations to clear or expunge community members’ past criminal convictions and provide these individuals with government benefits and aid, housing options, job training, and educational opportunities. Marin LWV's table will have information about restoring the right to vote, registering to vote, addressing misinformation, and voting educational resources (like Vote411).
