The League of Women Voters (LWV) of Stanislaus County, in partnership with the LWV of Greater Los Angeles, LWV of Nevada County, LWV of Pasadena Area, and the Personal Insurance Federation of California, are partnering to host a virtual candidate forum for the office of California Insurance Commissioner. The event will be Wednesday, April 29th starting at 5:30 pm. See flyer.

This often-overlooked state office merits voters’ time and attention. The loss of fire and homeowners’ insurance policy options is a very real problem impacting our state. The individual elected to Insurance Commissioner will play a vital role in addressing this issue. It’s critical that voters learn about the candidates seeking this office and make an educated decision.
