“The Librarians” documentary film

Online screening and conversation featuring members of the film team, trailblazing free speech leaders, and grassroots organizers fighting to defend intellectual freedom so you can be ready to activate your community members once the film is available across the U.S. on PBS Independent Lens starting February 9.

Speakers will include Academy Award nominated and Peabody Award winning Director/Producer Kim A Snyder; former Llano County Librarian and film participant, Suzette Baker; plaintiff in landmark Island Trees School District v. Pico (1982) Supreme Court Case, Steven Pico; Chairman of Intellectual Freedom Task Force, Penguin Random House, Skip Dye; National youth organizer and co-founder of Seat, Cameron Samuels; and more.
