Housing Funds for 80-unit Apartment Building
Proposed is a $4 million loan to the nonprofit MidPen Housing Corp. so it can purchase and rehabilitate the 80-unit Sherman Oaks Apartments at 200 Bolinas Road in Fairfax, preserving it as affordable housing. The loan would come from the County’s Affordable Housing Fund, created to increase the stock of permanently affordable homes and advance the values of a balanced community. (Staff report)
