In 1972, the Equal Rights Amendment passed both houses of Congress and was sent to the states for ratification. Join the Alice Paul Institute for a conversation with Ting Ting Cheng, Director of Columbia Law School’s ERA Project and Jorie Dugan, Global Legal Advisor for Equality Now about the state of the ERA 50 years after passing congress. We will be discussing what is happening with the ERA today and the strategies being used to get the ERA enshrined in the Constitution.
