WHY THIS MATTERS:

For many students, the cost of transfer applications is a significant barrier. Those with financial need often struggle to apply to multiple schools beyond the UC/CSU fee waivers, or they may not qualify for waivers at all but still need support.

YOUR IMPACT:

The Student Transfer Application Fee Fund helps students fulfill their educational goal of transferring to a 4-year college. COM has between 350-400 transfer students each year. This fund will provide the means to assist those most in need. While most of the applications were within the UC/CSU system, students also applied recently to private schools including Dominican University, Santa Clara University and College of the Arts, to name a few.
