As part of the LWV Day of Action (Aug.8), our League chose to have conversations in the community about why people don’t vote. We held several small events and one of those events inspired LWVMC member Pat Becker and Pastor Leggett at First Missionary Baptist Church to work with local Marin City resident, Shannon Bynum, to conduct interviews and create a video. It’s an interesting snapshot of how people of different generations view voting and how they all suggest education to promote it!
