We are launching STAND UP FOR DEMOCRACY a Civics Learning Tool for all.
Empowering Voters and defending democracy is a key part of the League of Women Voter’s mission. Today the very foundation of our country — our democracy — is being threatened.
The League of Women Voters Marin County’s STAND UP FOR DEMOCRACY program offers Marin County residents a non-partisan way to better understand how our government was intended to work. A better understanding inspires action - specifically TO VOTE!!
This program features basic definitions of civic topics. Each page gives the basic definition of the topic as well as why it matters in today’s political environment.
