Dominican university, Marin Kids & LWVMC to host town hall forum featuring candidates for Congress, Assembly
Monday, October 8, 2012 at 4:58PM A town hall style forum featuring candidates for the U.S. 2nd District Congressional seat and the California 10th District Assembly seat will be held Monday, October 8 from 7 until 8:30 p.m. in Dominican University of California’s Angelico Hall.
KPIX (CBS 5) anchor Dana King will moderate the event, which will be streamed live on the KPIX website. The forum is co-sponsored by Dominican, MarinKids, and the League of Women Voters. King is chair of the MarinKids Leadership Committee.
The town hall format is designed to engage the audience and give the public a chance to submit questions. There will be two sessions, starting with Assembly candidates Michael Allen and Marc Levine, followed by Congressional candidates Jared Huffman and Dan Roberts.
