MacColl from Afghans4Tomorrow will speak at the January 30th International Relations/GreatDecisions group meeting.  She will focus on the risks Afghan women are taking in their every day lives and as they attempt to serve in their government, vote, and help bring peace to their country.   Photos, stories, and first-hand experiences working with the people of Kabul will be included in the presentation.  Discussion and questions follow the talk.

  •  All meetings are held at 4340 Redwood Highway in San Rafael, Suite F 138.  Coffee and conversation, 11:30; the program begins at noon.

Anyone interested may attend the meetings, held the last Monday of the month in the League’s conference room in San Rafael, 4340 Redwood Highway, Suite F 138 (from the south, Terra Linda turnoff, east frontage road, turn right at five tall Palms).  Programs begin at noon,coffee and conversation at 11:30.  For more information go to the International Relations link at this site and/or contact the group chairperson, at jonsam@msn.com.
